Students of our Diploma in Contextual Islamic Studies & Leadership undertake some rigorous media training!

We were delighted to host Amanda Morris, an experienced trainer from the Centre for Media Monitoring, who delivered a full-day workshop on Media Relations and Crisis Management to our diploma students. Students were exposed to the importance of having strong media-relations skills, the key factors involved in handling media enquiries and the key components of effective messaging and story-telling. The workshop finished off with a practical session practising live TV interview skills, putting students into the hot-seat.

Admissions are open for our unique diploma in Contextual Islamic Studies & Leadership, which equips Dar al-Ulum graduates & others trained in the Islamic sciences with practical skills & real world experience that, in turn, develop their leadership skills and enhances their career prospects.
