CMC Delegation visits Moscow

Last month, CMC Dean Dr Timothy Winter, CMC Trustee Prof Lejla Demiri and CMC Research Fellow Dr Dawud Bone were invited to Moscow as part of a delegation with the Grand Mufti of Russia. They visited the Moscow Islamic University, toured the new Cathedral Mosque and met trainee imams. Dr Winter offers his reflections about the visit: bit.ly/2eMa5x7

For Ramadan this year, CMC is releasing a short reflection each day on a different juz’ (portion) of the Qur’an so that the entire Qur’an is covered by the end of the month. Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad in Malaysia

CMC Dean Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad recently gave two talks in Malaysia, entitled ‘Rethinking Islamic Education’ and ‘Abraham as the Patriarch of Shari’a Diversity’. These talks were jointly organised with Cresent Collective and Peace Meal. The talks are now available on the Umran TV YouTube channel.
